While you had a chance to explore the New iGMS Multi-calendar, we checked what else our tireless development team had been working on in August.

We believe that big changes lead to big results. It may take some time, effort, a good dose of patience and a dash of Robin-Hood courage. We’ve welcomed the Booking.com channel (in beta) to our marketplace of integrations! You are now all set to manage the flow of upcoming reservations, irrespective of how travelers decide to book with you.

🚀 Top improvements:

  • The overall performance of automated reviews has been improved and now they get published promptly and as scheduled.
  • The Reservations report for Airbnb properties is now enhanced so that the ‘Tax’ column gets automatically filled in.

  • The process of inviting new team members has been refined. You can now change their email address in the iGMS team member card even if they haven’t accepted the invitation yet. It will get resent to the new email address so they can join your team anyway 🙌
  • We improved how the Cleaning Fee and Service Fee values of HomeAway/Vrbo reservations get sorted. It’s now much more logical! In the Reservations report, all additional fees get assigned to the Service Fee column and, in the itineraries, they don’t get summed up as part of the Cleaning Fee value, but instead, get listed separately. This way, your management fee, cleaning fee and total payout values stay precise and clear.
  • We added in-app and push notifications to the direct booking threads. Now, you will get push notifications for new messages for such threads on the mobile app (for iOS or Android) and a notification sound when opened in the web version.

📌 Our technical support team has been busy as well! Here’s what they’ve fixed and buffed during the month of August:

  • Improved Vrbo accounts sync performance so unconfirmed reservations won’t get the dates blocked on the Multi-calendar.
  • Corrected an issue with wiping out price notes for every new reservation coming from Airbnb. Now, the notes for such dates remain unchanged if not updated manually.
  • Fixed erroneous behavior of the date picker in the Multi-calendar on the mobile app. Now, a selected period of dates is visually aligned and correctly positioned.

  • Corrected the settings of the Channel manager. Now, when unmerged, the properties get their previous titles back and can be searched via Switch-To, Property Editor and Multi-calendar hassle-free.
  • Fixed an error with the “Disable automation for this guest” button. Now, when it’s enabled, as per chosen settings, the system stops sending out the automated templates, including those for direct bookings. 
  • Corrected the display of the guests’ phone numbers starting with +11. Now, they are shown without unnecessary symbols when used in the automated message templates and regular guest communication ✉️
  • Fixed an issue with upon-inquiry message automation. The templates now go out for every inquiry or booking request as scheduled💡
  • Corrected an error when a guest phone number wouldn’t save after being entered in the reservation card.

  • Fixed an issue that blocked dates for Airbnb reservations with ‘Checkpoint’ status. Now, the dates for such inquiries stay unblocked till the guest passes the ID verification and the reservation could be confirmed ✔️
