November’s improvements were all about mobilizing resources to get everything together for the end of the year 💪 Whether you prefer the desktop version or looking after your rentals on the go, this month’s updates are designed to enhance cleaning operations and property management, refine iCal connection, and help hosts to run direct bookings more efficiently. 🚀 Top-quality improvements:
- The Team & Members section loading speed has been significantly improved to retrieve data in no time. Now you can add new team members and assign them to properties hassle-free 🙌
- Rentalz.com.au iCal support has been added. Now you can connect the platform to iGMS via iCal, hassle-free.
- A new category of threads and the respective ‘Archive’ button have been added to the Unified Inbox. Now you can sort your threads by this category, allowing you to archive the old, and focus on those requiring immediate attention. 📧
- The Unified Inbox search bar has been reworked! If you type the guest’s name, you will see results related strictly to the name only, excluding any other similar options 🔍
- Additional tools have been implemented to monitor the iCal synchronization periods, stabilize current processes and minimize possible delays 🔗
- The Instant Book setting performance has been improved. Now, when you switch between the Airbnb listing sync types from Prices and Availability to Everything, the Instant Book requirement won’t reset to Everyone. Instead, it will stay as you have configured it: Everyone, Experienced, or Experienced with a Government ID.Â
- The Airbnb threads sync has been reworked to prevent delays, with new reservations coming through to iGMS and featuring in the iGMS Inbox on time. 📨
📌 Our technical support team has been working hard throughout the month of November too, here’s a quick summary: Â
- Fixed an error relating to the Multi-calendar. Initially, the calendar would show a red screen when scrolled right, now it loads information quickly and accurately.Â
- Added a link redirecting to the Booking.com platform from the popup menu in the Multi-calendar 💡
- Corrected an error on the mobile app relating to the guest’s profile icon in the Inbox not loading correctly. Now everything looks aligned and loads perfectly for every guest 📱
- Fixed a bug when enabled on-inquiry templates wouldn’t send for HomeAway guests with unconfirmed reservations. Now they are sent out as scheduled.
- Resolved an error when enabled on-inquiry templates wouldn’t send for Airbnb guests booking a co-hosted listing. Now they are sent regardless of whether the primary host or co-hosted listing was booked. 📩
- Corrected the Multi-calendar performance when it would load only part of the properties for accounts with numerous listings, this now loads properly.Â
- Righted a problem that made it impossible to create cleanings for iGMS listings. Now a cleaning task can be created for a property even if it is not associated with any platform. 🔛
- Addressed an issue preventing prices and availability for grouped properties from editing via the Multi-calendar Rates view. Now the Multi-Calendar shows the pen icon necessary to access the editor.
- Corrected the Multi-calendar Rates view layout on the mobile app, on iOS and Android. Now when editing prices or availability, hosts can see the Save and Cancel buttons📱
- Fixed an issue with editing a cleaning visit date. Now it can be set to any necessary date, including today.
- Corrected an error relating to the display of account information on the Payouts report. Now the data loads properly💰
- Sorted out HomeAway threads behavior – canceled reservations were showing in the Inquiries tab of the Inbox. Now only inquiries are shown in that tab.Â
- Improved the layout of the Multi-calendar in the compact mode. This now shows the connected platforms icons as it should.
- Fixed a bug: Addresses were not being saved into the address line when a timezone was missing. Now, all changes can be saved even if a property doesn’t have a timezone set.Â
- Corrected an error when availability and prices for checkout dates couldn’t be edited in the Multi-calendar view. Now any changes can be applied to such dates accordingly 🗓️
- Resolved an issue whereby images were not being sent with the message template text when sent manually. Now nothing is missing from the template when it’s sent from the Unified Inbox.
