From AirGMS to iGMS: Rebranding Our Vacation Rental Software

We have some exciting news to share with you – we’re starting a new chapter in our vacation rental software story, and we really want you to be a part of it.

We are thrilled to tell you about our rebranding – AirGMS has become iGMS! It’s easier to spell, it’s easier to pronounce, but it’s about more than just removing a couple of letters from our name.

So, Why The Change From AirGMS to iGMS?

The essence of the brand remains the same, our mission is unchanged, so why rename ourselves iGMS?

AirGMS (Airbnb guest management software) started out in 2015, providing native and advanced integration with Airbnb. Our aim was to develop vacation rental software that could make a difference to hosts and property management companies.

We attracted a lot of interest and now successfully manage 80,000+ listings. We worked hard to ensure our vacation rental software incorporated a whole host of unique features.

Not a company to rest on our laurels, we decided to go further, enhancing our vacation rental software and providing even more value to hosts.

We’ve introduced new integrations (Vrbo/HomeAway), unique features, and useful tools – and we’re no longer just Airbnb management software.

We’ve taken the next step in our quest to provide comprehensive vacation rental software, please allow us to introduce Intelligent Guest Management Software (iGMS).

Our new name links well with our philosophy. As vacation rental managers ourselves, we truly believe that the world of hosting revolves around the guest experience. Our intelligent software helps hosts to make it remarkable.

Our Journey Towards Refreshing Our Brand Name

We’ve decided to keep our logo – the polyhedron symbol, with its many planes. We feel it goes hand in hand with the vision for our vacation rental software – the perfect all-in-one-solution for hosts, catering for your unique needs. Here’s what pushed us to become iGMS:

1. New integrations. We had our Vrbo/HomeAway integration on beta testing for a while and have recently unveiled it. We’re pleased to report we now offer a fully equipped channel manager too, and our integration is much more profound and advanced than the integration supported by regular channel managers.
   We aim to provide the best service we can for our clients and thus to solve your problems. We are determined to make the integration truly native and as helpful as possible.
2. A new level of customer support. We are dedicated to fulfilling your needs, and understand how important offering comprehensive customer support is.
   If you are an existing client you might have noticed that our customer experience team is becoming stronger in terms of numbers and productivity. We’ve increased our opening hours too so we can be here to answer your questions and queries.
3. New tools and features. We’ve been busy developing our vacation rental software, creating more and more tools to make your hosting experience easier and more rewarding. Thanks to the latest updates you can now manage booking alterations, create Airbnb listings, export calendars, and automate your pricing strategy, and you can do it all in one place.
4. Our tremendous growth. Not only did we manage to rack up an amazing 80,000 + listings, but we’ve also doubled the size of our team.  At the beginning of the year, we received A-series funding – which will help us to actualize further ideas and improvements.

What’s Next For iGMS?

Don’t worry, changing the domain won’t affect any internal processes, account settings or mobile apps access for our users. If you do happen to log into your iGMS account through the old airgms.com you will be automatically redirected to the new domain (www.igms.com).

We truly believe that our new, improved, vacation rental software will benefit our valued customers. We will continue to innovate, and more new features and integrations will follow.

As we mentioned at the beginning of the year, we do have a Booking.com integration on our roadmap, and plenty of new tools to enhance your short-term rental management.

We’re expanding our team too and now have even more dedicated professionals on hand to help you grow and develop your short-term rental business.
